If you’ve ever eaten a meal with a dog present, you will soon remember how they are exceptional in the art of begging. Somehow they manage to change their faces to look like the most deprived and yet most irresistible creature on earth. Jesus is confronted by a Canaanite women begging for mercy for her sick daughter. At first Jesus and his disciples are not giving into the begging. However something changes in Jesus response when true faith is displayed as the women seeks crumbs from the master’s table. How far would far would you go in looking for crumbs from Jesus?
