Some people claim that God speaks directly to them.  Others wish they could say this, but can’t.  Many wonder if what they perceive as God speaking to them is actually Him or their own desire or imagination.  Phillip heard Jesus say “Follow Me”, and he did.  That’s seems easy when you can actually see Jesus.  Samuel heard God calling him, but thought it was Eli calling for him.  Eli helped Samuel to respond in the right way to hear God’s voice, and told him to say “Speak Lord, your servant is listening.”  Are you listening?
