Do you ever wish you were with the disciples on that first Easter evening when Jesus appeared to them? They were talking about him and then suddenly he appeared saying, “Peace be with you”. And how did they react? They were frightened. Then Jesus said, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?” I need to be reminded at &mes that even the disciples were frightened with the resurrected Jesus, who has just defeated death, standing in front of them.
