Christianity today often attempts to portray Jesus as the best advice giver that provides a strong moral direction for our lives, in order that we might live in harmony with our neighbor. Some people also see Jesus as an excellent teacher that passes along excellent quotes that turn into Tweets, Memes, or Facebook statuses that help us through our anxieties and fears. Sometimes, we need a call back to our foundations to truly understand how Jesus reveals himself to us. John the Baptist does just that by proclaiming “Behold, The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”. John is revealing Jesus as Substitute, Savior, and Son. Listen-In or Watch below:
