From humility comes joy. A young faithful Jewish woman, Mary, has been chosen to become the mother of a child who will bring salvation unto all people. After visiting her cousin, Elizabeth, who announces to her how blessed she is to believe that the fulfillment of the Messiah would come from her, now begins to rejoice with great humility in her circumstance. For Mary draws upon her servant heart and begins to realize the magnitude of what God is doing through her. Her soul is magnified and filled with joy toward the Lord for doing this marvelous work through a woman such as her. She is a true vessel for the Lord’s redemption.
