We “ought always to pray and not lose heart.” This is how Luke introduces the Gospel today (18:1). Then he records Jesus’ telling of the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge. God the Father is kind, gracious, and loving. While we may not always receive the answer we are looking for or according to the time frame we stipulate, our dear Father always delights to hear and answer the prayers of His people.
