The bustling morning classroom comes to a hush when the teacher stands front and center of the classroom. still some stirring remains as the teacher and other students “shush” those who haven’t settled down. The teacher is about to address the class. What will the teacher pass along to the students today? What great wisdom and knowledge will come forth from their learning? What will the teacher say throughout the day, weeks, months, and years that will greatly impact and shape the students’ lives?
Perhaps, the great wisdom and knowledge is what many had hoped to hear when the Great Teacher, Jesus, sat down on the mountainside and began his Sermon on the Mount. The Apostle Paul reminds us that we as students are not only supposed to soak in that that teaching for ourselves, but is is our very own calling to pass along the wisdom we have learned from our teacher.
