July 23/24 – Grace Alone – Lutheran Weekend Worship

Through faith in Jesus Christ, you are welcomed into the Father’s presence. As you approach the throne of God with both praise and petition, His Spirit grants you the grace to acknowledge him with confidence. Earlier this week 25,000 high school youth and adult leaders did just that as they gathered in New Orleans for the 2016 National Youth Gathering (NYG). Immanuel sent 13 of its youth along with three adult leaders. NYG’s overall theme was “In Christ Alone “. Each evening as the 25,000 gathered the message focused on either Joy, Identity, Humility or the Community of Christ alone. Today’s worship will also focus on those themes and will show us the impact of that experience and what was learned amongst such a large community of believers. Jesus’ disciples learned firsthand the benefits of living “In Christ Alone”. Jesus taught them—and He continues to teach us—that coming together is a gracious opportunity for us to learn and acknowledge the need for “Christ Alone”. May the experience you have today be richly blessed as the Triune God reaches into your life to fill you with His presence and peace! Listen-In or watch below!
