Oct 21/22 – What Are We To Do? – Lutheran Weekend Worship

The people of Jesus’ day chafed under Roman rule, but Jesus taught to “render to Caesar” his due. It was under the Roman occupation, after all, that Jesus was born, lived, died, and rose for our salvation. Knowing that God is so resolute in His determination to use even evil and ungodly intentions for His purpose and holy will, we can live in peace. We can trust Him for our physical and spiritual needs. Whenever we doubt God’s care, then the end of the story, God’s victory over all things, is our comfort for time and eternity.
