Nov 11 / ASL – Looking Back, Up, and Forward – Lutheran Weekend Worship for the Deaf Community

Three years ago, God’s Spirit breathed something fresh into the hearts of the people of Immanuel. We called it Stronger Together. We dreamed. We had visions. God directed us to Build a Community In Christ. We became unified to accomplishing this by reaching
the youth, reaching out into our community, creative messaging, and updating our facility. We launched. We dared to begin something new. God blessed. God stretched. God challenged. We made strides. We struggled. Satan battled. We experienced failure. We experienced joyful surprises. We stand here today, continuing to look ahead, keeping our eyes fixed on our Leader, Captain, and Savior – Jesus! With Him all things are possible. We must continue to be faithful, as He is faithful. We have started something potentially incredible for our community. So we must continue to remain Stronger Together.

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.  Hebrews 12:2 (NLT)
