Every three years the LCMS holds the National Youth Gathering. This year it was July 10-
15, in Minneapolis. There were 21,000 youth who attended the NYG a couple weeks
ago. The theme for this year was, “Real, Present, God” based off Psalm 46. We have a
God, who is real, He is present in our lives, and He is the one true God. Throughout our
lives we can go to Him to be our refuge and strength. Today, we will reflect upon the time
