The Reformation is a great time to hear the words of Psalm 46, that ‘God is our Refuge and
Strength. A very present help in time of trouble’. These words mattered so much to Martin Luther that he penned his most beloved Hymn “A Mighty Fortress” with this Psalm in mind. Given all that we have undergone this year, and also how we are just a little over a week away from what seems to be a very important Presidential election for our nation, it is extremely important for us to not only be reminded of the words of Psalm 46, but also use them as a daily guide for strength. With an unknown future ahead of us, knowing that God is our refuge and strength helps us to live out the end of the Psalm so that we can ‘Be still and know that He is God.” Listen-In or Watch below.
