Nov 28/29 – Grace and Peace: More than a Wish – Lutheran Weekend Worship

Paul starts his letter to the Corinthians with two small words; Grace and Peace. Beginning a letter or a speech with platitudes is always a good way to win and engage your audience. Sometimes it’s used as a feel good for some difficult points that will follow. The latter might be true of Paul’s greeting, but the former is not at all a mere wish of Grace and Peace.
